Mark Geeves, Partner
Mark Geeves has been involved in technical sales for the past 25 years in North America, Europe, Asia and Japan. He has been involved in developing and managing direct sales forces for major and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) account activity while setting up multiple distribution networks.
Throughout Mark’s career, his primary focus has been in developing and implementing strategies that are aimed at revenue generation with regard to B2B (business to business) sales. His skills sets include developing sales tools and educational programs that can be used by current and future employees so a consistent message is sent to the marketplace by the entire company. Mark has an extensive background in working with marketing in developing both short term and strategic programs for existing and new products. A few of theses sales and strategic marketing programs include:
- Developed and implemented the worldwide sales strategy for OEM and Major Accounts. Efforts yielded sales growth from $3.2M to $19.6M in three years for one market. This was done with no new products and only hiring 1.5 additional personnel.
- Established distribution channel for German based company; the technology became the leading dollar volume seller and achieved the number one market position in the Americas within twelve months.
A majority of Mark’s background comes in technology sales in the printing and publishing, plastics, paint, automotive and medical industries. This broad background allows him to quickly grasp the application of technology in addition to understanding other markets where the same technology might be leveraged.
Throughout his involvement in many industry standards groups within various markets he has an acute awareness of technology trends before products are common place or even enter the market.
Mark has Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mankato State University with concentrations in Marketing, Management, Industrial Relations and an Economics Minor. Mark and his wife Karen reside in the Cincinnati area and have two children. They are involved in several programs that benefit local charities.
